I began snapping a few shots while waiting around for friends to arrive and noticed this cute vehicle which I incorrectly thought might be a mobile library. Upon closer inspection I found a lady inside who was more than happy to invite me on board and explain that this was actually a mobile studio for recording stories, life histories, and the tales folks love to tell. You don’t need a fancy title to participate, these are the stories of everyday people. All of the stories are archived at a local library and a few of them are aired on local radio. I found this to be very exciting, as an anthropologist and cultural geographer I am fascinated by oral histories and shared stories.
